Kobayashi Pharmaceutical’s origin lies in supporting people’s daily lives through unique ideas and creating new lifestyles and habits. Underlying all of this is, above all, an unwavering commitment to “manufacturing that puts quality and safety first.” Now, to thoroughly prevent any recurrence, we are once again returning to this original point and pressing ahead with efforts to strengthen and revamp our systems and structures across all processes, from development to manufacturing and sales, so that we can protect our customers’ safety by placing it above all else.
Our mission is to “We never stop creating and innovating in our pursuit of something new that will delight people and society.” We will continue to refine our creativity in turning “You make a wish and we make it happen” into reality while further pursuing reliable quality, thereby creating products and services that customers truly trust and feel they “would be in trouble without this.”
Our “2035 Vision,” established to drive medium- to long-term corporate growth, serves as a guide for our new challenges. We create products that thoroughly pursue customer satisfaction, expand them throughout Japan and globally, and aim to become a leader in creating new lifestyles. To achieve this, we regard the current period as a critical stage for “building a foundation that connects to the future,” the key theme of our medium-term management plan. We will practice a strategy of “selection and concentration” by focusing our resources on businesses where we can leverage our strengths and deliver significant value to society. By enhancing quality and development capabilities through optimal resource allocation, we will further deepen the trust we have built with our customers and reinforce our ability to achieve sustainable corporate growth.
The key to a company’s sustainable growth lies in its people, who drive the organization forward. Through ongoing dialogue with all employees, we are building a new organizational culture at Kobayashi Pharmaceutical in which each individual can think autonomously and take on challenges. As the new Code of Conduct becomes embedded throughout the organization and we foster an environment where employees take pride in their work and act proactively, new ideas and initiatives will continue to emerge from the front lines.
